food safety tips

If you are highly allergic, chronically ill, or otherwise immunocompromised, it becomes more important than ever to reduce your risks of coming into contact with bad food. Exposure to bad bacteria can cause a serious infection which can result in a visit to Emergency at best and a hospital stay (or even death) at worst.

Ensure that your food is at its best from the moment that it is purchased. A good general rule is: "When it doubt, throw it out!" Don't risk exposure to bad bacteria by cutting corners on food safety. Your health isn't worth the few dollars of savings.
